1. Service Description

SignWorks CR provides design, manufacturing, and installation services for illuminated signs, printing, and graphic design in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

2. Quotes

All quotes are valid for 10 days from the date of issue. The final price is determined after reviewing all project details. SignWorks reserves the right to update a quote if project details change or in the event of a misunderstanding.

3. Payment

All payments are made in Costa Rican Colón (CRC). A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion or at the time of installation. Failure to pay may result in project delays and/or legal action.

4. Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and are not binding. They depend heavily on the availability of materials in Costa Rica or through personal import. SignWorks does not commit to exact delivery dates and is not responsible for delays caused by supply chain issues, material shortages, or other external conditions beyond our control.

5. Warranty

SignWorks provides a 3-month warranty from the date of installation, covering manufacturing defects only. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, extreme weather conditions, installation by a third party, or infrastructure preparation (including electrical work), which is the responsibility of the client.

6. Order Cancellation

As all work is custom-made, orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed. Cancellation after order confirmation: no refund will be issued, and the full order amount must be paid. Cancellation before production begins: a refund of up to 70% of the transaction value may be issued, depending on costs already incurred.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs created by SignWorks remain the property of the company until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the client receives full rights of use.

8. Limitation of Liability

SignWorks shall not be liable for indirect damages, including loss of income, loss of profits, or any damage arising from the use of products.

9. Changes to Terms

SignWorks reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Discount Codes & Promotions

Discount codes issued by SignWorks are subject to the following conditions: • Validity: Each code is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Codes that are not used within this period will expire automatically. • Single use per job: A discount code may only be applied to one job or order at a time. It cannot be split across multiple projects or invoices. • Non-transferable: Codes are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred to another person or business. SignWorks reserves the right to void any code that has been transferred or misused. Discount codes cannot be combined with any other promotion, offer, or discount.

12. AI Assistant & Data Retention

Our website includes an AI chat assistant ("Worky") to help answer questions about our products and services. By using this assistant, you acknowledge the following: • Data collected: Conversations may include information you voluntarily share, such as your name, phone number, email address, or project details. We also record the IP address associated with each session. • Active use period (0–12 months): During the first 12 months, anonymized conversation data may be used to improve the AI model and the quality of responses. • Audit archive (12–36 months): After 12 months, data is retained solely for internal quality control and audit purposes. It is no longer used for training or service improvement. • Deletion: All conversation data is permanently deleted after 36 months. • Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your conversation data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. To locate your session, please provide your IP address and the approximate date of the conversation. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

13. Website Visibility Tools

We may use Google Search Console to monitor how our website appears in Google Search, including indexing status, search performance, and technical visibility. This tool is used for website maintenance and search visibility, not for targeted advertising.
