About This Product
Aluminum Composite Material (ACM), often sold under the brand name **Lokbond**, is two thin aluminum sheets bonded to a solid polyethylene core. The panel is very rigid, flat and durable, which is why it is used for architectural signage. We don't mount printed vinyl on the board: our industrial flatbed UV printer **prints directly onto the Lokbond aluminum surface**. The UV-cured ink bonds to the metal, so the photographic-quality finish will not peel, shrink or delaminate in the Costa Rican sun. ACM is used for permanent building facades, real estate developments, retail storefronts and any sign that has to last for many years outdoors.
